One hinge is located 7 inches from the top of the door frame and the other hinge is located 11 inches from the bottom of the door frame.

Leaving 1 side bare makes fitting and installing the track easier so do this for every panel. Screw cable brackets to the door to secure the weather stripping. Loosen the screws if necessary to bring the jamb back into plumb. One about 2 inches above the top hinge and the other about 2 inches from the center hinge.

Very easy to do. Place the second panel on top of the first one. Place hinge at the center of that area aligned with the right side of the garage. To install the new garage door hinges tap the hinge bolts through the bolt holes preferably from the outside.

Place your hinges in the correct location. With a friend pick up the new door panel. Align a hinge in 1 of the corners and in the center of the panel then screw them in place. Stand the bottom door panel on the floor in the garage doorway.

Once tapped in tighten the nut. Find new rollers and hinges here. It should be placed several inches in from the edge. Then you can take a hammer and tap the hinge bolt releasing the hinge.

Use impact driver to mount hinges to the bottom panel of garage door. Assuming you re installing a new door you ll need to find the precise location on the door frame for your hinges. Check that the door jamb on the hinge side is plumb and shim as necessary. Temporarily screw the hinge jamb in place by driving two 8 3 inch drywall screws through it.
